Christmas is over

its new year soon and im too lazy to upload the melbourne pics(they're on facebook though) but ive new ones!!!

It was the boy's birthday and what better way to celebrate it than to be with each other's company and have our favourite almond and longan cake (:

Then we had dinner at billy bombers...but it was quite a disappointment with their lousy lousy x infinite buffalo wings!!!

I was browsing through pics and i still miss Ryleigh's long(er) hair..so cute!!!

haha..he looked very surprised here. Don't think he even knew i was taking a pic (cute yeaaaaa?)

Oh, and Ryleigh and I never seem to be able to take good pictures. I think its my lack of cam-whoring experience. Its always blur or i'm half out or he's missing or the angles are wrong.. =(

and this one. i sneezed and 'disappeared' from the pic but u can see my fingers on his shoulder.
so I give up and we shall settle on individual pics of each other (:

this is one of ryl's fav pic that was taken in Melbourne's Brighton beach earlier this month. the clear blue waters and long stretch of seashell speckled sands was really a sight! (and notice the old couple in the background sunbathing in the nude!!! )

ok..enough of the boy. Sarah's in town. she's tammi and my childhood friend who left for the States when she was 9? (can't really remember how old we were)

today is a quiet day, so quiet in fact that the only people i spoke to are Carita; the property manager, Jennifer; a high school friend I bumped into and Ryleigh and Dad on the phone.

today is also my last day in melbourne before I return to Singapore. I'm ready to go home, having extended my air ticket once, stretched the limits of my cash, imposing on friends for accommodation and clothes! i really need to do my laundry =X

i'm homesicked but like what louie and sandra said, relationships hold you back and that if i wasn't with Ryleigh, i would probably stay on and not want to go back this summer.. but at the end of the day, all we humans want is to be able to go back, to a family, to the arms of a loved one. I really really really do miss Ryleigh alot and the next year won't be easy but i sincerely pray that our long distance relationship works.

now let me pack my luggage and indulge in one last glass of Muscato before i head to bed.

melbourne's awesome... so many people ive missed much and so many familiar sights..
everything feels different now, its as though ive stepped into a book that one has read many times and have the scenes played out infront of u again..

so weird! haha.

same sex demonstration in the city..i just had to get into the crowd for a minute.. =D
